(NaturalNews) Newborns deficient in vitamin D are twice as likely as newborns with higher levels to develop respiratory infections, says a new study out of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dear David,
Ahhhhh … a giant plate of pasta the night before a big workout, long-distance run or a big game. It’s what all the athletes do, right? They load up on tons of carbs, so they can get the “extra energy” they’ll need.
Except that they don’t. Get the extra energy, I mean.
Conventional fitness trainers and nutritionists will tell you that pasta and carbohydrates are how you get the strength to perform at maximum capacity.
I’ve known this just doesn’t work. Now I have new evidence about why. (more…)

Even India has put a stop to this deadly experiment. But doctors and U.S. governmental agencies still insist it’s essential for every adolescent girl. The death toll in the U.S. from this uncontrolled ‘medical experiment’ now stands at 89 with 20,575 reported adverse affects. The newest victims on the list? Nursing infants.
n April, the government of India called a halt to trials of the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine. This came about because of a civil society-led investigation which highlighted serious ethical violations in at least one trial.
In India, civil society groups have long been voicing their concerns regarding the safety and efficacy of the two HPV vaccines, along with the aggressive promotion of the vaccines and the need to investigate reported deaths and adverse events post vaccination.
According to Economic and Political Weekly, the investigation that led to the ban highlights how: (more…)

Scientific Panel Calls FDA Miserable Failure in Protecting Children from Mercury
Tuesday, December 28th, 2010By
Dr. Mercola | December 28 2010
A U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisory committee has recommended that the agency take a new look at updated data on mercury amalgam dental fillings that may indicate medical problems for patients.
The committee also said that more information on amalgam fillings should be posted for both for patients and dentists.
According to CNN:
“Public pressure prompted the panel’s review, initiated less than 18 months after the agency’s decision. Committee members listened to testimony by consumer and dental groups claiming the FDA used flawed science when it set the current guidelines for mercury safety levels.”

Dear Rev. David,
Did you know we drank over 43 billion cans and bottles of diet soda last year?
Diet soda’s been on my mind lately because I’ve been reading the latest studies on diabetes. Did you know drinking diet soda leads to diabetes?
One recent study says point blank that if you drink diet soda every day, you’re 67 percent more likely to develop diabetes.1
And the more you drink, the worse it is. Another study found that those who drank the most diet soda had a 34 percent greater risk than those who drank the least.2 (more…)
